Collide
On April 14, 2012, San Diego arts non-profit Sezio , in partnership with the LWP Group, set out to create an art exhibition alien to what one might consider usual: “COLLIDE: An Intersection of Art, Music, and Community.” The show exhibited 18 killer artists and 5 local businesses within the vacant spaces of a newly renovated 1912 apartment building in San Diego’s East Village.
I was commissioned to do SIX permanent installations. I had a blast on this project. Thanks to everyone who helped out- James, Jeff, Greg, Micheal.

It was only a matter of time. The stars have aligned and Tocayo and I finally booked a show in the halls of Subtext.

Release the Kraken
SUBTEXT has been collecting vintage paintings from all over the country over the past 8 months. All of the paintings are originals and each one has a body of water in it. Subtext asked each of the 20 artists participating in the show to "enhance or modify" the pieces by adding sea monsters, hydro-creatures & aquatic beasts to the existing paintings. FRUIT OF THE SOUL

Sezio partnered with Fruit of the Soul, an annual arts, music and culinary event hosted at the Specialty Produce warehouse in Mid Town. Going on five years strong, FOTS combines the best food, art and music San Diego has to offer and annually raises over $20,000 for local charities. Sezio is curating this year's art installment, which was showcased in two semi trucks turned pop-up galleries.
