I am proud to be featured in this months Fusion Magazine 'Gallery' section so make sure you grab a copy and check it out! If you're not in EP, take a look at the digital version. I'd like to thank Oscar and Rafael for working with me and my crazy schedule. I've been a fan of this mag since it came out, they've been putting out quality issues for a while now. Issue #52 of Fusion is dedicated to the 2nd annual Neon Desert Music Festival taking place May 26, 2012 in downtown El Paso, TX. Where I'll be live painting/posting an 8'x12' wall. I'll be giving out some shirts and stickers.

El Paso Trip - Temple to the Future

Came into El Paso to be apart of a project organized by the El Paso Transnational Trolley Project, a visual arts campaign to bring cultural awareness for a transnational trolley system and border-crossing, a collection of regional artists from El Paso and Juarez were asked to create an artistic borderland mural on the former Saddleblanket building located in Downtown El Paso (601 N. Oregon St.). They will also be conducting a food and clothing drive benefiting the Rescue Mission of El Paso. Thanks to Adam Marshall, Peter Svarbein.

✞In Guad We Trust✞

This is one of my favorite pieces, it is for a show at the Roots Factory in Barrio Logan. It's a group show called 'In Guad We Trust', where each artist is free to give their interpretation of our Lady of Guadalupe. I've always been a fan of religious imagery and I chose to show Guadalupe as the mother of god. As we all know, the Virgin Mary and our Lady Guadalupe are the same person in different stages of her life.

This piece is even more special to me because of the process I took to make it. I had a photo shoot with my wife as Guadalupe then hand cut a rubylith of her. Then I cut a much larger stencil of her and a large pattern stencil.
